WARNING: The following blog contains spoilers from The King of Fighters XIV.
Okay, as we know, The King of Fighters XIV is now released. So, let's get down to business, shall we?
As I had expected, the Story Mode is basically the arcade mode of this console-exclusive game, almost nothing like the Story Mode in The King of Fighters XIII. Anyway, the Story Mode has 10 Stages: The first 8 Stages being the usual 3-on-3 fights, the Ninth Stage being the Sub-Boss Battle against Antonov, and the Final Stage being the Final Boss Battle against (SPOILER ALERT!) Verse. Oh, and there are cutscenes as well, but, only four teams have their own special cutscenes before the final boss:
- Team Japan (Kyo, Benimaru, and Daimon)
- Team Another World (Nakoruru, Mui …

People of this Wiki, in case you haven't noticed the news, there will be a new anime and the live-action TV drama of The King of Fighters. It's coming soon this year.
Now, I don't really watch live-action TV dramas, so I don't think I would look forward to that. But what I am looking forward is the anime version, and hopefully, it will be better than KOF: Another Day.
So, your thoughts on this?Read more >
I want to make pages for some of these titles, so I made a list. I used MAME as a reference, so it may be missing some stuff. It's of course missing console-exclusive titles like Crystalis. Hello there, whilst on the popular website TVTropes, I noticed that on the pages for both Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters that they said Raiden was originally supposed to be in The King of Fighters 1994, as a member of Team England before the idea was scrapped for the Women Fighters Team. More specifically, they said one the developers mentioned this somewhere, presumably in a artbook.
While I presume the original idea was something akin to Billy Kane/Raiden/Hwa Jai, my own search for any facts about this did not work, so if anyone can link me to proof about this and maybe the original line-up, I would be very grateful. --S.C. Amigo (talk) 05:27, November 1, 2014 (UTC)Read more >
The pirate video game industry has been interested in SNK games for a long time. Here's what China had to offer over the years:
The King of Fighters '98-2000: '98 and '99 were released on Sege Genesis, 2000 on SNES (athough there's also a SNES '98 but it's a different game) Features three Street Fighter characters and Cyclops ('99 and 2000) from the X-Men.
Top Fighter 2000 MK VIII (Sega Genesis): While not directly a port of an SNK game, we do get to play as a lot of SNK characters: FFS Ryo and Gees(e), '94 Kyo, Heavy D and Lucky Glauber (the latter two are edited to become Muhammed Ali and Michael "Joden" Jordan, respectively) Also, we fight Ryo in Terry's FF2/FFS stage, Kyo in the Korea Team's '94 stage and ironically, Geese in Billy's sta…Read more >

Few games embody the spirit of competition better than fighters; you and your opponent sit down, pick a character, and duke it out to see who's best. And in the process of beating up your friends, it's hard not to have a few favorite characters. Which is your favorite? Ryu from Street Fighter? Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat? Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury?
We've assembled a massive lineup of the 64 strongest, fastest, most popular fighting game characters ever, to duke it out and see which warrior will emerge the Ultimate Fighting Game Champion!
There will be rounds of voting until just one fighter is left standing, so be sure to visit Wikia's Games Hub every week and vote in the new rounds! Share this contest on social media to help get more vote…Read more >

Hi guys, this is Acenitro.I made an idea of next installment of the king of fighters.Enjoy
After the events of Ash disappearance,Shion the last member of those from the past hosted KOF tournament.Chizuru Kagura heard about next tournament and told to Kyo and Yagami. She also sensed that Shion is trying to bring back Saiki to existence.Kyo called Benimaru and Daimon to help him while both Iori and Kagura called Shingo to help them.Duo Lon felt that Saiki haven't finished yet.He called Shen and Elizabeth but she refused to come.Instead Oswald joined him.
The gameplay and sprites are same like King of Fighter Xiii for example
- Special moves have a "normal" or "stronger" version. The stronger versions are called EX Special Move and EX Super Special …

Am I the only one here who thinks that Dolph Lundgren, even in his current age, would make a very good Geese Howard? I mean in all the movies that I've seen him in, this guy looks perfect to play a middle age Geese!Read more >

Hello, everyone. I'm the wikia user Zakor1138, and this is my first blog on this wiki. This blog is more of a question than anything else...
In SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom, the Makai Spell (used by Red Arremer) turns the fighters into different types of monsters. I know Terry Bogard turns into a werewolf and that Kasumi Todoh turns into a Karakasa-obake. I wanted to know, just what the other characters turned into? Does anybody know?Read more >

Hello, SNKers, this is 276, and this Blog will talk more about points of view of a player when his/her hands are not in the Arcade/Console, and realizes that life goes on, even when your loved characters won't grow after '95.
I first met SNK by AOF, But nevertheless I knew I saw something strange, this was a good fighting game, and it wasn't from Cap... you know, don't wanna touch the "Akira" line. It was the Early 90's, and the world promised much back then, like demise or aliens on Y2K.
Anyways, I saw something good on that game, then went back to the arcade (Quite rare for me, I was really young and had to use a couple bricks to be at the height of the Stick and the buttons) a few days later, until then all games I knew were from that Ita…

Been having problems with my net for the past week hence the silence on my end. Should be back to normal for the most part by next month but until then don't expect regular responses from me. Just though I'd give a heads up. Kyosei 03:18, February 26, 2010 (UTC)Read more >
I hope it's not too late for a post like this, but here's my personal wishlist for this year!
- Sequels! - Why SNK? Why do you make us suffer? WHY? Rumor has it that Capcom vs. SNK 3 is being developed, that's ok. But, while Capcom has Street Fighter IV and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Namco has Dark Resurrection, SNK failed with KOF XII, which isn't exactly a sequel, storyline-wise. It's an overhaul, alright, and KOF needed it, but we need a TRUE KOF game with the many aspects that put the series in the spotlight. It should take time, alright, I guess we all learned our lesson that we, fans and producers, must have patience. Sure, but what about the other games, SNK? Where's Garou 2? Will The Last Blade series be forgotten? A Neo Geo Battle Colise…
