Daimon slaps the ground, creating a tremor. Starting with The King of Fighters '95, the version becomes a fake-out.
Strategy[]
Daimon's ground pound. Jiraishin can only hit if your opponent is standing on the ground, meaning will miss if your opponent is in the air. It can also be evade if the opponent is crouching. If successfully hit, it causes a soft knockdown.
The version is a feint, meaning it doesn't do any damage. This version is used to fake people out to become less wary of Jiraishin. Typically used for mind games.
The version causes a juggle state on standing grounded opponents. Like the version, it does not hit aerial or crouching opponents, but has faster startup than the version.

- In every game in the Orochi Saga, if Jiraishin is used, all standby Team Members will also fall. If a standby Team Member is either Kyo Kusanagi or Benimaru Nikaido, they will jump when Jiraishin is used, completely avoiding its attack.
