Janne D'Arc (ジャンヌ・ダルク, Jannu Daruku) is a character in the World Heroes series of fighting games.
Story
Janne D'Arc is a swordswoman from the 15th-century France. A bearer of a tremendous beauty, she roamed her land in search of a strong fighter to become her husband. However, she continues her search in a different time now.
Personality
Aware of her fighting prowess, Janne won't back up from insulting her opponents if she judges them weak. However, she also desires to find a man suitable for her.
Powers
- Fire Bird - Janne can release a projectile that looks like a bird made of fire from her sword.
- Energy Attacks - Janne can fuel her slashing attacks with energy.
Fighting Style
Janne uses a type of swordsmanship that is not based on French fencing. Her sword can also transform into a chain whip, extending its reach.
Cultural References
She is based on french national heroine, Joan of Arc. While Janne is cocky, Joan was virtuous.
