Mickey Rogers (ミッキー・ロジャース) is a character in the Art of Fighting series of fighting games. Mickey was a character controlled by the CPU (playable by players in Vs. mode) in the first game and made fully playable in the second game. It's unknown if his name was inspired by the Disney character, but in his Art of Fighting 2 stage, there is a poster depicting someone wearing a Mickey Mouse hat. Like John Crawley, Mickey's design changes between his two appearances, his appearance in Art of Fighting 2 bares similarity to the heavyweight champion boxer Muhammad Ali. He was voiced by Kay Inage.
Mickey was once a professional boxer, but was removed from the ranks because he accidentally killed a man during a boxing match. He currently lurks in South Town finding opponents to vent his anger and frustration on, and participates in the King of Fighters tournament for the same reason.
During the events of Art of Fighting, Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia are sent by King to meet him to get access to the military base she said Yuri was in. Although he was grateful enough to take them to theport, he could not get them onboard the Guardian aircraft carrier.
Mickey is a proud champion that loves boxing. Although he did work for Mr. Big, he isn't an evil person. He is a fighter at heart and won't refuse a challenge.
