Mysterious Emperor?[]
I mean, post SSV events, shouldnt Yoshitora be the emperor (and I believe he is in SSVI)
- Yoshitora isn't an emperor, he's a shogun. Big difference in the time setting for SSV or SSVI. Emperors didn't mean much of anything during those times. That's why they use Okitsugu Tanuma in the Japanese script as a plot tool for Yoshitora becoming the next shogun. All these trivial Japanese history notes come from the same SSV in-game script you showed me a while ago. http://www.geocities.co.jp/CollegeLife-Library/9133/data/cputext/hanzo.html A lot of these were cut in English because the original Japanese script assumes the audience knows their Japanese history. That's why the English script has the flaky "Emperor" title as it kinda conveys -a bit inaccurately- his role back in the day. The SSVI Emperor is really just a random emperor.
